Ice skating.

I went today. AND I HAD AN ABSOLUTE BALL!
It was my first time in five years and excitement levels of this little creep were right up there.
To add to my delight, the ice hockey season starts in April. I will see to it that i get a place on a team.

Not to sound completely full of myself, but i am quite good on the ice. I find it no trouble zipping around and much to the disgust of my cousin, i can skate backwards(he cant and it annoys him very much). I am still a rookie but i will be great

Any ways, back to my day. I wore my mighty ducks jersey to the rink, and got myself some compliments on how cool it was. I was challenged to a couple of speed races by my cousin and this little creep(ie me) won. That is because i kick ass!

My cousin and i even managed to get my mum onto the ice. She wasn't the best skater and simply REFUSED to let go of my hand. She only did two laps. As soon as she left the ice, my cousin and i pelted off again.

My younger cousin was a little shaky on the ice at first but she soon improved with my fabulous help and the knowledge that there was a young male checking her out. This perked her up rather a lot.

It was three hours before any of us felt tired but we didn't want to stop we were having so much fun. The mums literally had to come down and drag us off the ice!

On the way out, i spotted something that completely fixated me. A gold and black Anaheim Ducks jersey. I 'am now hell bent on owning it. It WILL be mine.

Well must be going now. Wont be blogging again till after christmas.
Happy Holidays everybody

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking
so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine, as children do.
It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
our presence automatically liberates others.”-Nelson Mandela
